
I've been involved in sports for as long as I can remember. I competed in gymnastics when I was young which laid a great foundation for learning discipline and also ingrained in me the importance of exercising regularly. Later in high school I played football and competed in shot put and discus. After high school, I went on to compete in shotput and discus for Rutgers University.
After college I earned my
CSCS Certification because I was tossing around the idea of getting into personal training. Although I don't work as a personal trainer or compete anymore, I still coach from time to time at various track clinics.
Nowadays, I just train for general fitness. I still weight train between 4 and 6 times per week followed by cardio and I also take the occassional Vinyasa Yoga class with my wife.
